is strong and will hold up a little, but it can't be fireproof if it has gaps on both sides after closing the lid! No matter how tightly we close the lid, there are still cracks. I suspect there will still be small gaps even if you don't use suspension files in it, which does NOT technically make it fireproof after all. In addition, the edges connect centrally at the back and have a raised material that prevents you from moving the folders back and forth. I had to wrap it with tape so I could move the folders forward or backward without them getting stuck on the fabric.
