The perfect companion for the Apple iPad Pro 11 Smart Keyboard Protects the edges and removes the rough plastic edge where the keyboard meets the iPad. I've noticed that it doesn't turn off when I close it, but I can live with turning it off as I feel my investment is better protected. I also noticed that it's not that locked and if you press 2 hard on the screen it disconnects from the keyboard. I trimmed the bottom of the case off a bit with scissors and it fits much better. The keyboard's back flap goes through a hole in the case, which allows the keyboard case to flex as needed. The pen holder does a great job of keeping it in place so it can't be accidentally knocked off as the pen is securely in place without the case touching it. Making a pencil is simple and straightforward. I gave it 5 stars because it fixed so many bugs in my $200 Apple Smart Keyboard for my $1000 iPad at such an amazing price. I had an iPad Pro 10.5 inch with a smart keyboard and an optional iPad back cover and loved the protection it offered my iPad. This was the closest additional protection solution I've found so far.
