I was hesitant to buy this tool at first. The chart only shows models up to 2013. I have a 2014 GMC Sierra and bought 2017 GMC Denali wheels and tires to use in the summer months. I tried releasing the pressure for 10 seconds but it didn't work. I happened to come across a video on the internet of a guy showing how easy it is to use on a truck similar to mine, so I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, even if the air pressure method worked, it would still be worth the purchase. I got it in my mailbox, took it out of the box, put a 9 volt battery in it and went to the truck. . I scrolled to the truck tire pressures screen and held down the tick button on the steering wheel until the horn beeped. I went to each tire (in the correct order, the flashing light is brighter where it needs to be), attached the antenna to the tire's sidewall (pointing to the sensor inside) and pushed the button. Wait for the beep and continue with the next wheel. It probably took less than 45 seconds and there was nothing else to do!
