I bought these because I really wanted a set of my own Corelle paraphernalia, not my old used items which are all faded and incomplete. The set is very beautiful, I like the pattern, very modern. But I was upset with the heavy dishes. My old kit was light weight, great for my aching hands and elderly mother in law. However, they appear to be 2-3 times heavier each. It defeats the purpose of using Corelle for me, aside from being unbreakable of course. However a good set that I will certainly use and enjoy, just if you are looking for LIGHT this is not the set.
