I have very long, very thick, very curly hair and to keep it from falling out of my face you need to use either an elastic band or a hair clip. As I got older and developed fairly severe shoulder osteoarthritis, using a rubber band became more of a problem. That means finding hair clips that are big and strong enough to hold my hair in place. They looked promising so I decided to try them. So far I'm quite happy with them. They are easy to use, big enough to hold my hair and don't slip off. Keep in mind that I have a lot of hair so it stays in place and doesn't fall out. I love the colors - I usually wear black or navy pants with jewel tops and those colors go really well with this color. . No breakage problems either. No complaints at all. Very happy with this purchase and would buy again if needed (or if they come out in new colors).
