Review on 👕 Rit Dye Color Remover Powder for Laundry Treatment, 2 oz, Set of 3 by Lori Sanders

I really didn't mean to order 3 of these but turns out I was glad I had extra ones as most stores are closed I couldn't just run Joannes and get yours one! I dyed a white denim jacket (pink) to match the jeans and it came out too light. My jeans were a soft pink with hints of purple; Very pretty but the jacket was too pink and I had to redye it. I was planning on playing with the colors first to get the perfect shade before coloring it but I was at my son's house (he has a bigger sink) and forgot to bring the blue to get the perfect shade get what i needed. I tried anyway, but I didn't like it. This paint remover worked great on the jacket; brought out all the color in the first minute! Later, when I switched my wardrobe from winter to summer, I washed several summer tops and tinted one of them with my favorite white top! I immediately washed the white top again, then again with bleach and a third time with OXYCLEAN, but to no avail! Then I remembered I had these extra boxes of paint remover, so I tried it in a large pot of hot water on the stove; nothing has happened. I got the third box in the minimal amount of hot water in a large pot on the stove and again nothing! My top is ruined! my jeans! Lesson learned; BUY matching jacket and WASH WHITE SEPARATELY! Lol Oh yeah use gloves when using this product; Since it leaves sticky marks on hands that are difficult to remove, you have to wash it repeatedly! It also has a chemical smell, I couldn't figure it out, but it reminded me of something you feel in a hair salon. Too bad it didn't work on my white flowy vest-like top with lace sleeves that I wear several times in the summer; 95% viscose I think.
