Review on Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen2 - 🎥 Ultimate USB 3.0 HD Video Capture Dongle Model 32060 by Ben Rodriguez

I was looking for a device that would allow me to operate my GoPro Hero4 Silver like a normal camcorder with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software - [.]). GoPro instantly became a video source with no setup or driver installation required on my MacBook Pro. OBS saw it with no problems. I'm glad I bought two of these, I have a DSLR that is also commissioned and Magewell seems to be just what the doctor ordered. It's nice and compact, which helps with the portable studio I'm building. It does get a bit warm after being plugged in for a few minutes, but that's to be expected. It comes with a male to male USB cable. All you need to add is an HDMI to HDMI cable (exact type depends on your device). In my case I used a GoPro HDMI to HDMI mini cable. Works on first connection.
