These picks look nothing like the "hands-free" picks that come with the Shark cleaner. You will need to insert the pad into a pad on either side of the vacuum and then tighten enough to secure the velcro on the side. It is very difficult to attach the Velcro correctly. As I mopped, the Velcro came loose and the mop's plastic scratched the floor. So I had to replace the pad, it was hard to do and by then the pad was wet and dirty. Trying to manage everything to replace the pad was really excruciating. I wasn't impressed at all
