Too skinny to fit. I bought 7 when my daughter wears 6 as she won't be wearing it for a few months as it is part of a costume. I let her try it on and while it still works, it definitely fits snugly around the waist. Otherwise it's a very nice skirt. Good quality. Nice length. This is the vegetal shade of green I needed. It was a bit pricey for a cotton skirt but I needed this shade of green and style.
