When I received this controller my first thought was that its square shape would be awkward to hold and use, but it quickly became my favorite controller. It works well with my Macs, PCs, . and it works very well with retro pie on raspberry pi. (For a retro circle, set the controller to "Mode X" [aka Xbox mode]. You'll need another controller or keyboard connected to the retro circle to access the setup menu can access and set up a new controller the first time, but once you've gone through the setup it all works very, very well, it transmits the RF to the USB dongle which is also great for a retro pie (assuming you have a free USB port) as you then don't have to go through the Bluetooth setup procedure, which can sometimes be tricky and/or problematic in a retro pie, it's fantastic to easily switch between trackpad/keyboard mode and game controller mode Being able to switch modes Overall this is a great controller I would highly recommend it and I would buy it again.
