I always plugged this cable into my computer and never knew it was the cause until recently I unplugged it and suddenly got WiFi signals. I even unplugged the mic from the cable to see if the mic is causing the problem. It just seems to be the cable itself when connected to the computer. I'm sure that won't happen to everyone who buys it, but I'm going to throw this cable away.
