Didn't know what to expect. I used to use patches, but it was different. Our leather sofa was shot through, torn, the dog destroyed. Since I was fired, I couldn't replace him. I ordered 6 large patches. No, the sofa is anything but perfect. But the patches saved me for a while. the stick is relentless be careful. You are strong. I put gorilla tape underneath. Put 2 on each seat cushion, they worked great. The rear cushions were much stiffer. And there was nothing I could do to fix it, dog problems, I stuffed them again with duct tape, a 4 inch roll of band aids and 3 large band aids. Cover all this so as not to hurt the dog. In general, I've waited too long. But the patches were great, heavy and strong. And they don't come off
