I wanted something I could wear in the water at the pool. I needed music with a good beat that would move me, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I didn't want to take my phone to the gym either, so I wanted something standalone. It really fits the bill. Just plugged into my computer and opened a folder with a few Chinese songs that I deleted. What many don't realize from the reviews is that you can open iTunes, go to your music queue and just drag and drop any song you want into the folder for that device. (Itunes does NOT recognize this. I'm talking about a file in explorer) I downloaded it with the songs I wanted. It puts some pressure on my ears in the pool (I wear it under a cap) but it has good sound, easy to turn it off, change the tone, change songs, etc. It tended to turn on when swimming little to slip , so water got into the headphones. So the music can't be heard. After getting wet it always worked well the next time I swim which I do 3 times a week. I have small ears, maybe they were too big for my ears. In general I am satisfied for this price. I don't know why people said you can delete and add songs. I had no problems.
