I like this product and think it's good value for money. I have tall speakers (most are square or slightly rectangular) that are 17 inches, so they are a bit unstable. I have smaller speakers with a surround soundbar and this would be perfect for them. Note: This is a Sony BDV-7200w. One of the screws attaching the speaker to the stand broke immediately. It was very difficult to remove from the plastic. I also ordered black mouse pads to put under each stand base to prevent scratching my hardwoods. Overall it's a good product but doesn't quite meet my needs due to the unusual size of my speakers. When I was looking for stands for my Sony BDV-7200w this article popped up. I owe it to the search engine and keywords used. It will work for many Sony surround sounds.
