So, at my local Texas grocery store (Central Market/HEB) I found this Herb & Earth jasmine-scented incense that smells nice, light, and slightly powdery when you ever have jasmine oil, they smelled like that! -- only they were sticks and not strong enough for my taste. I decided to try another brand of jasmine cones and they were fine. I still couldn't find anything that looked like grass and dirt so I decided to look here. And I looked (at the reviews) and looked before deciding to try it. At first they were very fragrant through the packaging so I was curious and hoping they would smell like herbs and earth sticks. I lit it up and honestly I wasn't disappointed because for some reason it just made me feel nostalgic. As if it reminded me of something I knew from the past. 1. The smell stays. Went about 5 cones all over my apartment (about 800 sq ft - bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room and bedroom) then 2 the next morning. When I came back from work after 15 hours. I still smell some jasmine, but I also have to say that it's mostly "HEM essence". 2. They're pretty smoky. They tickle my nose a little while it burns, but nothing that makes me uncomfortable. - I'm not overly sensitive either and I don't worry about strong smells, actually I wanted a strong scent. 3. Some cones just WILL NOT burn. They'll burn through 1/3, 1/2, 3/4 of the way and just walk out. So I feel like I wasted a lot of these because they are harder to light. Overall I decided to keep them because I don't get too mad at the smell. I just want them to shine.
