YES! This works with the Optoma HD142x projector. Before I bought this I couldn't get a clear yes or no. My lamp went out after almost 2 years of use. Shortly after replacing the lamp, the projector started malfunctioning again, as if the lightbulb had burned out. The lamp failure indicator on the projector also came on. I almost bought another bulb, but after further troubleshooting it turned out that the colored wheels are prone to failure. This bike was a bit dirty when I received it. I have NOT cleaned this to avoid damaging the glass or the unit and it doesn't seem to affect the quality. The wheel spins freely as it should and my projector works fine the day I bought it. If you're changing a lightbulb, consider changing the wheel at the same time. It was a good after sales option.
