She forwarded the suggestion to her design team and suggested that I select a replacement or a different item and asked that I be okay. It was also very pleasant to communicate with her. I appreciate a company that goes above and beyond in their customer service. You've earned my trusty double bond again. I hope for an improved waterproof version in the future! At the same time, maybe people could try to seal the edges of the cards with something waterproof before first use. Might be worth a try!] That's a great idea. I read the reviews and knew they wouldn't last long. But I was disappointed that they quickly dissipated within the first *2 minutes* of use. I was hoping they would last at least a little bit. I was hoping the kids could use them long enough before they ran out. Water quickly soaked up the edges and crumpled the thin cardboard, including around the ring hole. And one of these, my sister, was rubbing lightly with her pants to dry some of the excess water when she noticed the edges were crumpled and she rubbed off a lot of the white material making this postcard look scratched as it dried. * This was literally within the first minute or two of supervised adult use. The idea for this was great and if they just sealed the edges of the box it would be feasible. The cards can still be easily bent, but at least they don't break when they first come into contact with water. And people can be warned not to rub anything (even lightly) on the white part when it's wet. I am disappointed in this product. poorly executed was what I received from the Melissa & Doug brand. I trust their brand name little more than the quality. Two stars simply because I like the idea and I want this product (especially the ABC key cards) to be remade well.
