Review on ShutterGrip Ergonomic Handgrip Bluetooth Smartphones by Aaron Parish

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works most of the time.

Fits well in the correct position although the mechanism has been stretched (large iPhone 11 Pro Max). it connected quickly and I got up and walked and then the problems started. The shutter button seemed to control the volume control more than the camera shutter, which was annoying. I'm a street photographer and I really wanted this device to work, but when I miss a great shot due to a clumsy shutter release, it stays in my camera bag. Not only that, but when this device is paired with a phone I can't use the keyboard! So the usage for social media snaps is "wait for shuttergrip to turn off and pair". Double disappointment. I will leave this device to try every possible solution but I will not buy it again or recommend it to anyone with a new iPhone.

Pros
  • Camera and photo
Cons
  • Elderly dubious purchase
