This is our first trip with our 9 month old daughter and after some searching this is the most compact travel high chair I have found. I like the tray and the supportive side panels. They enclose the child from all sides and create an overall feeling of security that you don't get from people without a tray. It's also probably the most compact high chair on the market. It folds up very compactly and fits in any pocket. The tray is durable and made of washable material. I easily removed the dirt by wiping it with a damp cloth. I read some negative reviews about the cleaning but I had no problems with it. It's built for travel, and for that purpose it's great! Use a damp cloth and run your finger under the edge to remove dirt. I even contacted the company to ask if I could wash the tray under the tap, but before I even got a reply I took a chance and gave it a quick rinse with warm soapy water and then wiped dry. It came out great. I was very happy when I got an answer from the company (which was great to work with!) that you can safely rinse it off quickly (but don't immerse it in water) and dry with a cloth. It is definitely the best choice for traveling with a child.
