The product is perfect for what we need. It has a small footprint (no pun intended) and due to the design, the shoes don't stick out lengthwise from the wall. A previous buyer recommended installing in a rack rather than drywall with anchors and I 100% agree with that approach. If you get into the drywall over time by constantly taking your shoes off the rack and putting them back in, the drywall attachment will likely loosen. Let's face it, how many kids, if you're lucky, will be tender when they slide their shoes in place. Another recommendation is to use zip ties, which I also 100% recommend. This adds extra stability to any brace, and without it, the brace can loosen enough and come loose. It doesn't really matter much because you can tuck it back in, but avoid fret and strategically place zip ties vertically and horizontally on each post. Once you cut off the excess, you won't even notice they're there.
