I have used lint collectors in my sink for many years; They really help stop the build up of lint in the drain. But when the grocery store I bought them from closed, I bought them online. I'm not very tech savvy so I didn't realize I was buying wire mesh and these snare drums are plastic. My husband expressed concern that they might not work, but I didn't believe him until I washed up with one of them yesterday and the trap sagged (because it's too long and made of cheap plastic), got caught. in the sink and almost ran over the sink! If I hadn't accidentally walked into the laundry room when this was happening and stopped the washing machine, I would have had a flood. NEVER BUY THIS! Only buy mesh! Snare: STOP DOING THIS!
