This is a great light source that will add some natural warmth or coolness to any scene and I have tested it outdoors and it is holding up well. Although I used this outdoors for a car photo shoot, I think it's best used for indoor scenes. July 23, 2020 update on Charger. I've had this flashlight for a few months and have never traveled with it or even used it much. I would avoid this flashlight if you're looking to buy it for $150 just for it to go out
