I highly recommend this playpen. I've been using it with my 10 month old for about six weeks and it's been great. I don't usually write reviews but playpens are really hard to choose so I thought I'd share pics with them. What I like: - With a small footprint, you can customize it to best suit your space. I have it in the corner, and until my LO figured out how to slide it I didn't even plug it in. I like that you can customize how individual panels are used. Currently I only use 7. I plan on taking 2-3 plates on our next trip to install a lock instead of a "button" if needed. So far it feels very solid and I think it looks good. in our house. Seems like it's easy to clean when needed, but without the floor it's easier to move around and vacuum. - I needed customer support and they were very responsive and helpful. - I wasn't originally into accessories (pits and pull up bars) but my LO loves them! Good for you to know: - It's pretty easy to assemble, but you have to be careful to distinguish between front and back before closing the mesh (not clear in the instructions). However, it only lasted about 30 minutes. Once you've locked the panels in place (so your LO can't change shape) it's not very quick to unlock and fold them down. With 8 panels, there are 9 unlocking mechanisms that require some hand strength (to protect against small children). You can then roll it up to 4 x 2 flat screens that are still fully connected. If you want to fold it like an accordion with all 8 panels, you will need a stick (like a screwdriver) to pry off one panel. It's not difficult, but I wish it were easier. I don't roll it often anyway so it wasn't a problem. I hope this helps you make your own playpen decision!
