I bought this closet divider to make room for my child's clothes in our closet with her clothes hanging on a real rod at the top of the closet and mine underneath with this double rod. It was pretty intuitive and the instructions were ok, but the weight of the clothes quickly sagged one side and then everything slid to the right. The plastic pieces that are supposed to hold the adjustable bar where you place it are a bit loose and just fall off instead of snapping together tightly, so they don't hold the weight we want - and we've even doubled them. . I probably should have thought about it when I saw that this is configurable because it's probably a tricky design issue. I think it would be better if there were pins with rounded ends that you attach through the holes in the vertical bars, or something to hold the horizontal bar where you want it. My husband was able to readjust the bar but it took a while and cost him to pinch his fingers. It's a good product but I wouldn't plan on hanging a lot of clothes on the bottom rail although you would probably buy this to fit more clothes in your closet in the first place. If I had more space I would make both rows for my child's clothes as they are much smaller and lighter, but we don't have space in our closet and she doesn't have many clothes.
