Extremely comfortable knee pads and ultra light weight. I laid about 1500 square meters with it. Technical hardwood feet and they have proven to be excellent. Excellent stability and excellent soft support. This design is ideal for hardwood installations as it allows you to slide over the wood and move around easily during installation. I used to have a pair of McGuire Nicholas Gel Knee Pads but after extensive use they had to be replaced as the gel eventually became uneven but even with actual machine washing (which I'm sure a lot of these aren't designed to hold up ) they did what they were supposed to do and have come a long way. As a contractor, I know McGuire Nicholas is good company and my knee pads are too old. They are always reasonably priced, work great, are well designed and durable. I also have another pair of ledges from them that have a square side support and I am very happy with both pairs.
