The stick is bent and scratched.
I heard a lot of good things about these cables so I gave them a try. They are much thicker than other replacement cables. I don't know if I was sent a used or new product, but I paid for a new one and bent and scratched one side of the 3.5mm connector. I hope this gets noticed and replaced
