I love this bobbin holder. I ordered two and I have no regrets that I bought this one. Count your turns. You may be surprised at how much you have in your stash, just like me. It really is "plug and play". No tools or glue required. As others have said installing crosses requires considerable arm strength. My husband made me one. I did another one by squeezing the pieces together with some good pair of pliers, which worked well. I don't think I want them to stick together too easily. The holder wouldn't be that strong. Once the cross members were in place the spool holders went in very easily. All spool holders have the same length, 4 inches. They will easily hold a large tapered spool. Or double conventional coils. Or regular coils along with the appropriate coils. This item does it all. It's all plastic, but very durable plastic. I believe it will last for many years. I didn't want to punch holes in my wall, so I hung it with strategically placed heavy command strips. The command bars worked like clockwork. My husband doubted that my method was strong enough to hold him, but he couldn't let go. (One point for the woman!) :-) I have no hesitation in recommending this product. It looks good, is well organized, durable and I'm glad I have it. I found other spool holders online for less money, but this was the only white one and I wanted it to match my wall.
