This belt is just what you need. I would like 1 1/2 inches instead of 1 3/4 inches. Galco holsters are cut for 1 3/4" belts, however DeSantis holsters are primarily designed for 1 1/2" belts. I used a small file to widen the hole on my DeSantis and now it fits perfectly. A limitation. As stated on other posters, belt by Bianchi. they seem small. It's not that they're "shorter" than another belt of the same size, Bianchi just decides to make holes. I have compared this size 34 Bianchi rifle sling to several other size 34 slings I own and found that the Bianchi holes start at least an inch further from the sling. That is, if you are used to putting the tongue of the belt in the second hole of the "normal" belt, you need to put it in the first hole of the bianchi. If you are using this strap for an inner hip holster, it will be too short. I returned the size 34 with no problems (thanks Revane) and bought the size 36 and it fits and works exactly as I hoped.
