We live in a cold climate and it's in the 60s in our bedroom at night. The blanket is too warm, so we like the wool blanket. Our last lasted 20 years and was for a full bed. This is a wonderful and totally satisfactory replacement. Our current bed is a queen-size bed with a large, thick mattress that is best described as an 'oversized' queen-size bed. Most queen size beds are not made. We ordered this king size which is perfect. Long enough to tuck in your butt and stay pinched. The sides tank well too, covering everyone (2 people, 3 kitties) with no cold air stains. The color we received is a beautiful blue, not at all like the picture which makes it look like an electric blue. This should be our last blanket. Can only recommend this great duvet.
