I have had small fabric card carriers in the past, but they just didn't offer much protection. This card case is just the right size for my needs. It will hold 8 SD cards and that is more than I would need for a day of shooting. The cards are very easy to insert, it holds them in place well and it offers a decent amount of protection. It should definitely keep them from getting bent or broken and I believe it offers enough protection from rain. I doubt that it is submersible (not going to test that), but it should hold up to a decent rain without a problem.I popped a few old cards I had lying around in it and attached a picture. You can see that they are spaced nicely and the finger holes make removal easy. As you can see from my other attached picture, the case itself is slightly larger than my lens cap. It fits easily in my back pocket or my camera bag where it normally resides.This case is great and I have decided to order a second one for my teenage son that has decided that there is more to photography than he can accomplish with his iPhone.
