They were very easy to install on my Subaru Legacy. I waited to put the dust caps on until I was sure the light came on, which was a good idea as I had to reverse the connector on both bulbs for them to work. I don't know if they are brighter than incandescent bulbs. the lightbulbs that were installed but I wouldn't say they are any less bright. color temperature. noticeably cooler, as you'd expect from an LED bulb, and I like that. I didn't have any bright lights and they seem to have about the same luminosity as incandescent bulbs (which is what I expected from the headlight design). If they don't last long, I don't regret the order at all.
