After my cat was diagnosed with diabetes I had to switch her to low carb food and patties. Because this kibble made up such a large portion of what he ate, I struggled to find something dry that was low in carbs. I'm on dr. Elsie came across and was recommended by several Facebook groups (Feline Diabetes Support Group, Feline Diabetes). I ordered some of the Revain and they arrived pretty quickly. My only real complaint is that a ton of the pellets were crushed, dusty or splintered. These are some of the same reviews I've heard from others. I've also seen people on FB posting some color differences ranging from light brown to dark brown but still with broken pieces. The packaging should be better, it would probably be better if it was vacuum sealed so the parts don't collide. Not really sure how so many parts break. Found another brand and switched, never had broken parts and packaging is vacuum sealed (Young Again).
