Review on πŸ’¦ Top-rated Dyson AM10 Humidifier in Sleek Black/Nickel Design - Unparalleled Moisture Control and Air Purification by David Gonzalez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good but limited equipment in a large room

This, like most Dyson stuff, is high quality and stylish but expensive. It is very quiet and forms no visible fog or condensation. The remote control is a nice touch, but unlike the fan, you don't have to use it for settings at all. As a humidifier, it has limited capabilities. We use it in a large room next to a piano, which ideally needs 50% relative humidity in winter. This device cannot do this alone. It can reach a maximum of 40% when the relative humidity of winter air outside is 20%, for example. We ended up adding a humidification unit to the oven. Together they brought the relative humidity to around 50%, although neither of them could do it alone. The tank is small and will need to be refilled daily with constant use. Filling the device is relatively easy but quite fiddly as you have to remove the oval, lift the container, turn it over and hold it upside down. The top of the tank is curved and cannot be easily put down. It also requires regular maintenance with a slightly acidic cleaning solution. In a smaller room with less demanding humidification needs, this could be 4.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
