Destroyed my 3D printer's control board

My printer worked fine, but I didn't want to reach for it to insert a micro SD card. I thought it would be nice to be able to insert the card into the front of the printer. I also thought it would be nice to use a full size SD card. This extension cord seemed fine for the purpose. Plugged it in, it worked and allowed me to do a print. Now it won't read full size SD card. Disconnect the extension cable and try using the printer's micro SD card slot. My printer no longer reads micro SD cards. I know it's not cards because my computer still reads them. This extension cord destroyed my control board and cost over $100 to fix.

Pros
  • In the box: (1) Micro SD to SD card extension cable. (Note: If the micro SD end is blocked, there will be a "click" sound. Please check it before printing. If you want to replace the card, please pull out the micro SD card first, replace the new card and then put the micro sd back in the printer slot.)
Cons
  • The list goes on.
