This seems like the perfect product I had in mind for my application, barring one major issue. Obviously the pressure arm clamps both balls after the mount is in place, locking the mount in place. The problem is that one of the balls is bigger than the other. I used my vernier calipers to take some measurements and one is 0.969 inches the other is only 0.790 inches. The clamp arm has the same "holes" on each end - both are for the larger size. In fact, the smaller one "dangles" completely in the hand even in the fully tightened position. So I have a phone mount that CANNOT be tightened into the desired position! I'm waiting for the statement of the manufacturer/seller. ready to do. *** Update -- Excellent customer service from the seller! They immediately sent me a replacement ball mount that was the right size and this product is perfect for my application. Upgrade to 5 stars! Thanks very much!
