Great monitor for PC gaming as well as consoles, but consoles don't really do anything with the best picture quality setting. If you have an Nvidea card you can adjust the picture quality to be close to an IPS panel with great colors. Also, the box had a G-Sync label. It's G-Sync compatible and works as it should. I bought it primarily for the PC but I like that it has HDMI and DVI-D so I can add other consoles. The picture presets on the monitor aren't that helpful, and perhaps the movie will look best if you adjust the brightness and contrast, as well as the race mode. Landscape mode gives you the most vivid image, colors and sharpness. For $250 you get both G-Sync and Freesync. plus 3 165hz inputs and for 27"81ppi it looks good. I don't think it will disappoint a PC gamer that likes to play on the same screen as their consoles. I have Gamecube HDMI and other games on the old school on it works very well for my needs.
