It's been many years since I bought a wool coat and for some reason I wanted to make it this year. This coat hit the mark. Received it today and was on pins and needles based on some of the reviews written here. Well, not only is this coat heavy enough to be worn in temperatures of 30 degrees and above (in New York), but the design and style flatters every figure. the belly goes beyond that and the coat is unlined. You definitely need to be a lot thinner at the waist to pull this off. I'm 5'6 and wear a size 16. I can fit a 14 and don't have a heavy chest. The color is stunning, a beautiful anthracite and the length is calf-length. The texture of the fur is soft. I learned long ago that wool should not be worn in wet weather in order for this coat to stay soft. The sleeves are long and go slightly over the wrist. I know this designer and coats are usually 800.00 or more. Getting a coat at this price was a steal. the only thing i plan to do is to zip the inside so the coat is closed when not closed. arrived quickly and well packaged.
