I have no idea how long this will last but I like how quickly it worked. We had to move/store our 12 inch king size memory foam mattress. In less than 20 minutes we (two of us) packed up the mattress, vacuumed it to about 4 inches, rolled it up to about 20 inches wide, buckled it (two Velcro straps were included with carry loops) and pulled it out. I started out with a handheld vacuum with a detachable hose, but then switched to a 6hp workshop vacuum. with small diameter hose. The only thing that would improve the experience would be if the vacuum hose could be connected to the vacuum valve on the bag. This would free a second person to help roll up the flattened mattress. So my wife held the hose on the valve and I tried to roll it up a bit, but it worked. We have to store the mattress for about three months and that is the first day. How well this will hold the vacuum has yet to be determined, but the straps must retain their twisted shape. Whether you're moving to town, need to temporarily store or return a memory foam mattress - THIS FOUND THE JOB! Holding and tutu can still be moved easily. I plan on vacuuming it again and wrapping it with extra fasteners to keep it in shape for long-term storage.
