Review on EverNary Dog Door Bell Wireless Doggie Doorbells For Potty Training With Warterproof Touch Button Dog Bells Included Receiver And Transmitters (1 Receiver + 1 Transmitters (W)) by Clinton Delgado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Who would have thought that my puppy could figure this out?

I have to admit that I was SKEPTICAL. I have a 10.5 year old and a 16 week old in the house. Obviously, the 10.5 year old, Keiser, doesn't need this. But with the puppy in the house and repeated accidents, I was desperate. I looked at bells on ribbon but those were an invitation to chew. I thought I would give this a try. Why not, I could return it.The first day: Plugged receiver into a socket near the front door. Set volume and ring tone. Hung the transmitter on the door where the dog typically was sitting anyway to get leashed up to go outside to pee. After about 30 mins.DING DONG.(I suspect he was trying to chew on the device.but took him out and gave TONS of praise) The following day, when we leashed up to go pee, I pressed the button and took him out. 2 more times. It's been about 3 days since then, I'm pretty good about monitoring food/water intake and don't rely on reminders much. Today however, I got distracted after feeding the dogs and sat down at my computer to finish work.DING DONG.I looked over, and there was the puppy waiting to go outside. I leapt up.tons of praise and took him outside. I was rewarded with both #1 & #2.I've now set up a video camera to PROVE to people that this actually works. I'll update this review with a link to the video when I get it. Rest assured, I would recommend this to most people. (I say MOST because if you're the type that would EVER unplug it because you would become frustrated with being TOLD "I need to go out".You should *not* get this item. I have friends like this and already told them, It's not for you.Anyone else who REALLY wants to communicate with their dog, who wants to reduce mishaps in the house etc.I completely recommend this item.

Pros
  • I think this will be ok. Can you email me any info as how to train my pup to use these.
Cons
  • The bell may be too heavy for some dogs to use
