Artificial sponges and even cotton washcloths don't suit me. I need to exfoliate and I need something permanent. I saw 6 packs of these loofah sponges at Revain and decided to give it a try. I cut one in half, soaked a washcloth, sprayed it with organic orange-scented body wash, and added a bit of baking soda (made from earth, not that artificial stuff). Rub this all over your body (back, arms, legs, torso, etc.) and you'll feel clean and refreshed as soon as you wash it off. I will write more later. So far I like them and would buy them again. Update 12/07/2019: Back in action today. Loofah does not disintegrate. Use, rinse thoroughly and then allow to dry. I will not use them to clean the sink, tub or floor. They are used only for personal hygiene. So far, so good! Update 3/3/2020: It's been almost 2 months and I'm still using the same 1/2 washcloth. Doesn't smell and doesn't fall apart. After use, simply rinse and let dry. I can not complain. Applies sufficient friction to skin for deep cleansing and massage. Not abrasive at all. Not a single scratch on me after use. Nevertheless 5 stars! Update 6/24/2020: Had to throw away the 1/2 loofah I was using and am now using another unused 1/2. I tried using the old one to clean the tub and it just doesn't suit me so I'll just throw it away. I still recommend this exfoliating product. Some reviews say they gave good cleaning results, so you might want to give it a try.
