Don't get me wrong, Real Technics sponges are the best and I prefer them over beauty blenders. But when I got these sponges, as soon as I put the sponge under the water, I knew something was wrong. The sponge didn't seem to absorb all the water because there were some dry patches no matter how many times I ran it underwater. it was also never fully expanded. But I didn't think anything of it until I laid the foundation with it. There was obviously something wrong as it didn't cover my face evenly and would have eaten up the whole product. I've taken the feedback and found that others are having the same issues. What amazes me is that the seller was an Amazon! I went to Ulta to buy another sponge to test my fake sponge theory and after using the store bought sponge it was a million percent clear that the sponges Amazon had sold me were were fakes! Ulta's sponge even felt different when touched, and it was also slightly larger and had the real tech logo on it. I'd love to take a picture of the old one before I throw it away, but I hope this review saves someone from wasting money.
