My daughter has wanted a dock for her bedroom for a long time so this was a good find. Instead of moving the original dock from the main TV to the living room, we decided to buy her this extra dock for her birthday. She likes the combination of blue and red. I am very impressed with the instruction manual. Very clear how to connect everything! You must use a Nintendo Switch branded plug - I bought a used power adapter here at Revain as I didn't want to pay full price, but I followed the instructions and it worked. We had an HDMI cable so I didn't have to buy a new one, but it could be any brand. Very easy to connect. The stand that the Nintendo Switch connects to / sits on is actually pretty solid (not fragile or flimsy, but TLC is always good). It charges and also connects to the TV, so its features are the same as the original docking station. When she's done playing, she can fold the stand up so it's a portable device to take with her on the go! Very impressive from every angle - a wonderful buy at a fair price and I'd happily recommend this dock for the Nintendo Switch. 💜
