Quality thread decides!
I've had many problems with my Brother embroidery machine. After someone recommended that I thoroughly clean my machine parts and then only use this brand of filament, I made the purchase. Very glad I did. The thread is so important. I used to buy multipacks from Amazon which were cheap. I'm not sure how the weight of the thread affects your machine's performance so much, but it does!
