Bought this blanket for myself to help with insomnia and insomnia. Sometimes I wake up at night feeling like I'm in danger. While I've felt my body relax faster under this blanket, I've even used it to soothe sore leg muscles. I still get a bit scared with a blanket in the middle of the night, but for now it helps me sleep. Other things - love how soft the comforter is. While I'm sure there are better fabrics out there, it's definitely soft enough. The weight is evenly distributed when I spread out the duvet. I'm not hot, but I'm used to sleeping under a thick blanket. But what's the best? My kitty loves it! She started chilling in bed with me, which she had never done before. Hooray!
