Basic ingredients, the first few are the most important in any cat food. And they're all real turkeys, and the best part is Dave doesn't use any by-products. If you don't know what by-products are, learn what counts as by-products and you will be disgusted and sad if you've ever fed your pet by-products. This alone is enough to buy their products. But they also use other healthy ingredients and I only recently bought Dave's for the first time, my cats adapt quickly, it usually takes a cat a while to get used to one food to another. The texture was perfect for the pie, no discoloration, no dented jars, I bought 12.5 oz jars. I almost tried it myself but haven't tried it but I bet it would be good, your cat's lifespan depends a lot on the quality of the food you feed them. Buy this food, it's a little more expensive than 9lives, Friskies or Fancy Feast but you can have peace of mind knowing you've just fed your cats a very healthy cat food. I highly recommend Dave's brand. Now I have tried chicken, turkey and then I will try beef pie. The cats are happy with the new food, as am I.
