I bought this camera to have something to photograph abroad because I didn't want to take my cell phone with me. In general, the camera does what it is supposed to do: take pictures. I had a Nikon Coolpix and a Canon Powershot before and overall I think the others I had were better than this one. The main problem I have with this camera is that it is "slow". Slowly take pictures, slowly prepare for the next picture and slowly look at the pictures. If you're someone who wants to take pictures on the go, I would definitely not recommend this camera. Even with Sport mode enabled, it's pretty slow. The quality of the pictures is good, but I'm not sure if they are any better than my photos on the iPhone 6. I bought this camera used, so it's possible that I have a defective camera that takes slow pictures. If not, I would recommend this camera to those who just want to point and shoot and might not want to use their phone to take photos. Otherwise I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.
