Super cute, but there are flaws!

I want to start by saying that I really like this study desk. Nowhere is it nicer. It has some flaws which I will mention below but none of them matter to me and I would 100% buy it again. First, if you think it's edgy, it's not. I thought that the area of the foot is elastic, it is not. I don't know why I thought that, maybe it's just me, I just thought I'd let others know. We got one of those $10 door jumpers, so she jumps somewhere else. I bought it when my baby was 6 months old. I have a girl with a fairly long torso, and before her legs got strong on the footstool, the seat itself isn't very deep, so she looked dangling in it a bit. Everything was fine as her feet/legs started to stretch better and she started to carry her own weight better. About a month after purchase. But for a big kid who isn't holding his own weight yet, that doesn't look very good at first. Babies with a shorter torso will not experience this. Second, the seat clamps don't feel particularly secure and sometimes the front ones slip off. Not critical as everything was fine, just need to keep an eye on it. The third problem I had was that the fabric of our seat was torn. For now I've sewn it back on and contacted Skip Hop to see if I can get a replacement. I will update this review as needed. Overall I would buy it again and recommend it to friends. We have a girl in the 90th percentile, so I think our issues with that were rare at first, but it's not an issue now. As for the tear in the fabric, I hope it gets replaced and if not I'm glad I can sew. I think this is rare as I haven't seen any other reviews mentioning this.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
