This is the third cable (only 2 audio cables, one + microphone) which is broken at the headphone plug. I have to keep replacing them because the headphones themselves were damn expensive. I can't use bluetooth because I use them for my TV and every bluetooth broadcast adapter widget I've tried (many) hasn't worked and is close to cable accuracy. Attempts to reinforce a spot will simply cause it to break where the reinforcement stops.
