Sturdy construction, glides like ice.

Came exactly as pictured. The height and width are within 1/4 inch and the depth is closer to 8 inches than 7 inches. There was still sawdust on the stool. Neither of these influenced my purchase decision. The bottom of the legs are perfectly rounded to allow them to move easily across the floor (scientifically, the minimal number of contact points means that the coefficient of friction between the chair and the floor is very low). I bought this for my little one. I will probably sand down the bottom of each foot or add rubber feet as this is what I wanted.
