The belt is good enough for the price but it's only partly leather. However, the price reflects this, so be aware that it may not last as long as a 100% leather belt. It's wider than most belts, which my husband likes because when he wears khaki, he doesn't like the belts for the dress. My husband wears a 36 in pants so we ordered a 38 as described. However, it is on the 2nd hole from the end; If you are at the limit, order. He would be happy with 40 but overall he's good.
